Privacy Policy
Take Two Partners LLC. Last updated September 23, 2026.
This policy explains what Take Two Partners LLC (“we”) collects when you use AI TrialPrep, what we do with it, and who else handles it. We wrote it to be specific: every service named below is one the app actually sends data to.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider).
- Your documents: the files you upload, the text we read from them, and the summaries and categories created for them.
- What you write in AI TrialPrep: your questions to the AI assistant and its answers, your messages with your attorney, and intake answers.
- Billing details: your plan and payment history. Your card is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Attorney accounts: your name, work email, firm name, bar state and bar number, and when you confirmed that your license is active. We do not look up your bar record. Clients you work with see your bar state and number. Accounts opened before October 17, 2026 may also hold the record of an earlier lookup (some or all of: name, bar or registration number, admission date or year, city and standing, and when it was checked).
- Early-access signups: the email address you give on a signup form.
How AI is used on your documents
AI TrialPrep uses AI in four places: to give each uploaded document a category and a short summary; to keep running notes about your matter; to answer your questions, using your documents’ summaries, those notes, and the text of documents your question refers to; and, when you complete an intake, to turn your answers into a memo for your attorney.
- Your documents are never sent to AI labs such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Google, and are never used to train their models.
- The AI work is done by open-source models run by three providers only: Baseten, Together AI and Fireworks. Requests reach them through Vercel’s AI Gateway, which is configured for zero data retention and set to fail rather than send your data anywhere else.
- Your AI conversations are private to your account. Your attorney sees one only if you choose to share it.
Who else handles your data
We use these service providers to run AI TrialPrep, and only for that:
- Vercel hosts the website and app, and routes AI requests through its AI Gateway.
- Supabase stores your account, your documents and their text, and handles sign-in.
- Baseten, Together AI and Fireworks run the open-weight AI models that summarize and categorize your documents and answer your questions, with zero data retention requested; no other AI provider is used.
- Stripe processes payments and stores your card details; we never see or store your full card number.
- Kit stores the email address you give on an early-access signup form.
- Vimeo, YouTube and Loom play a welcome video when an attorney has added one to their welcome page.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show ads. We share information beyond the providers above only if you ask us to, if the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety.
Your attorney
If you connect an attorney, they can see the documents and messages you share with them. Their own use of that information is governed by your relationship with them.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, and one cookie that remembers, for 30 days, which attorney’s link brought you here. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages to process payment and prevent fraud.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access follows your workspace permissions. You can turn on two-factor sign-in in your security settings. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your documents stay in your account while you have it, including after a plan ends, so you can come back to them. To delete your documents or your whole account, email support@legalsafer.com. We will delete them within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing support@legalsafer.com. We will answer within 30 days.
Children
AI TrialPrep is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. See also our Terms of Service.
